| How
are the Kidneys related to the Female Urinary Tract?
The
kidneys (located just under the rib cage in the back)
lead directly to the ureters – tubes which carry
urine containing waste from the kidneys to the bladder.
When the bladder is full, its nerve endings send impulses
to the brain. Bladder walls contract and the sphincter
muscle guarding the exit from the bladder relaxes.
The urine is ejected from the bladder, out of the
body through the urethra, another tube-like structure.
The
female urethra ends just above the vaginal opening.
So the vaginal tissue can become awash with the urine
as it exits. If a bacterial infection is present in
the urinary tract, this produces the pain, irritation
and burning of vaginal tissues.
Sometimes
a urinary tract infection and/or bladder infection
can travel to your kidneys - or, vice versa - a bladder
infection may signal a problem in the kidneys.
Some
symptoms to watch for as signs of Urinary Tract Infections
are:
- Pain
or burning when urinating, and frequent urges to
urinate
- Fever,
tiredness or shakiness
- Pressure
in your lower belly
- Urine
that smells bad or looks cloudy or reddish
Safe,
Non-Prescription Treatment with Kidney Formula
The
homeopathic part of this formula includes plant derivatives
which may be strangely named to you, but nevertheless
important natural remedies well known for relieving
urinary tract and bladder inflammation: Pareira brava,
Apis, Cantharis, and more. They work as natural and
safe medicine, with no side effects, and stimulate
the kidneys’ ability to function properly.
Other
herbal, mineral and nutrient ingredients:
Uva
Ursi - The herb Uva Ursi is perhaps the best
known natural preventive treatment and remedy for
kidneys and urinary tract. Usually sold as a single
element, it makes Kidney Formula all the more potent.
Corn
Silk (Zea mays) - A diuretic, soothing, and
anti-inflammatory tonic to help alleviate urinary
system irritation. It contains silicon, B vitamins,
iron, zinc, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus,
and key constituents like flax oil.
Juniper
(Juniperus communis) - The oil in juniper contains
Vitamin C and helps to stimulate the kidney tubes.
It acts as a natural anti-bacterial and uterine stimulant
to help flush out waste, toxins, excess fluid and
prevent urinary tract infections.
Peppermint
(Mentha piperita) - Has a relaxing effect on the muscles
of the digestive and urinary system. It possesses
tough antibacterial and anti-fungal properties to
help rid the kidneys of bacteria.
And
these are not even all the great ingredients! (See
Ingredient List).
Your
Kidneys, Urinary Tract and “pH balance”:
In
a kidney or urinary tract infection, the body’s
pH balance – “acid/alkaline” internal
environment of the body – is usually too acidic.
This causes buildup of bad bacteria including yeast
cells, which thrive in an acidic environment.
Växa
Kidney Formula can help avoid this buildup, and Buffer-pH+
can help rebalance your pH. Check out Buffer-pH+ and
our other fine Women’s Health products on the

Important
Notes:
A
kidney infection may be indicated
by back and side pain along with fever. Consult a
physician immediately.
Kidney
Formula is not intended to replace prescription medicine
in cases of Kidney Disease, but can be used alongside
the medication as a soothing element without interference.
It may also enhance the speed of recovery and lessen
drug side effects.
