Neck
Wrinkles - The Enemy of Millions
Wrinkles start where you’re
not looking – on your neck. You look in the mirror, and the
first thing you look at is your face. You notice your eyes, your
lips, your forehead, but your neck is in the shadows, so it gets
the least amount of attention. However, the skin on your neck is
much thinner than other areas of your body, which makes it more
susceptible to sun damage and wrinkling. You also stretch the skin
every time you turn your head, causing more wrinkles to form. There
are steps you can take to prevent neck wrinkles, including:
- Cleanse and moisturize your neck regularly
- Apply sunscreen to your neck daily
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
- Avoid sugary, fatty foods
- Take vitamin and mineral supplements
Like most skin care regimens, you need to
fight neck wrinkles from the inside as well as the outside. By providing
your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs, keeping well
hydrated, and eating a diet that is rich in antioxidants, such as
berries and orange juice, you’re putting your best neck forward.
So, next time you go to look in the mirror, take a longer look,
and make sure your neck is getting the attention it deserves.
