Sinus Infection Free: Your Lifestyle and Environment
Anyone
prone to chronic sinus infections has probably said “I’ll
do anything to get rid of these”. Being aware of how
our lifestyle and environment affect our health is important.
How can improving upon our lifestyle help our sinuses?
Exercise
is a must. Our modern addiction to TV and computers leads
to a passive lifestyle and does nothing to keep our bodies
moving. Even if we don’t need to lose any weight,
cardiovascular and weight-bearing exercise keeps every muscle
and bone in the body strong. For energy, try Växa Optimize.
A favorite saying among active lifestyle advocates is
“Exercise detoxifies”. Exercise helps the flow
of oxygen into the cells and the flow of toxins out through
sweat and deep breathing.
Make time for occasional colon cleansing in your lifestyle
health regimen. It keeps bad bacteria at bay and promotes
good digestive health. Remember, a healthy “gut”
plays a big part in having a healthy body, and good health
helps us keep our desired lifestyle. See Växa’s
Colon-Aid+ page.
Get
some sunlight (outdoor light even if cloudy) each day. This
doesn’t have to be concentrated, like in sunbathing.
Just be outdoors. This provides vitamin D, helps retain
calcium, and helps tissue and muscle regeneration.
Environment
Our
atmosphere is toxic – there’s no avoiding
some of it. Uninvited substances are going to come into
our body – especially through our nostrils as we
breathe. Yet our environment influences our lifestyle
and vice versa. How can we balance these through health
and nutrition?
Be
aware of our immediate surroundings
Avoid
unhealthy environments whenever possible.
For
example, if your occupation means working around chemicals,
gases or smoke:
Exercise outdoors
Drive home with car windows open
