sinus troubles, you are not alone. Chronic sinusitis is swelling

forehead, cheeks, and eyes which repeatedly comes back. If
you have chronic sinusitis, it may be difficult to breathe
through your nose. The area around your eyes and face may
feel swollen, and you may have throbbing facial pain or a

sinusitis occurs occasionally.

How do Sinuses
Work?
Humans have four kinds of sinuses
(air pockets in the bones behind the face and jaw) and any
or all can become irritated. The two which exist at or shortly
after birth include the maxillary sinus (behind the cheek
bones) and the ethmoid sinus (between the eyes). The other
two sinuses which develop later in life include the frontal
sinus (located in the area of the forehead, over the brow)
and the sphenoid sinus (located behind the ethmoids and eyes,
deep in the face).
The sinuses all lead
to the nasal passages and are linked by a mucous membrane.
They make the mucus that is intended to clean out trapped
particles and bacteria. When the mucus is thin (under healthy
circumstances), it is swept out by miniscule hairs along the
sinuses called "cilia", and draws bacteria and fungus out
of the body through the nose. When the sinus passages become
narrow, swollen and/or constricted, the mucus collects, thickens,
and attracts bacteria and fungus lurking in the environment.
When the flow doesn't happen properly the problem builds up.
