Acne Prevention

Acne, which appears on places like the face and back, is usually caused by overactive oil glands, blockage of skin pores, normal skin bacteria and inflammation. Although acne is natural, it can be frustrating and sometimes emotionally life-altering.

But, acne prevention is possible. Acne prevention can be achieved by using astringents to remove excess oil, gently washing your face twice-a-day and not scrubbing hard can also help. Another acne prevention method is avoiding foundation makeup and use powder cosmetics instead because they are less irritating. Removing your makeup before you go to bed is another good step in achieving acne prevention.

Wearing tight-fitting clothing can trap moisture in and irritate the skin, so wearing loose-fitting clothing is recommended. Showering after doing strenuous work is also recommended because the oil and sweat build-up can trap in dirt and bacteria.
