Intestinal Parasite Treatment
How do you know if you
need an intestinal parasite treatment? That can be a tricky question.
While some studies report nearly 9 out of every 10 people worldwide
as infected with parasites, these freeloaders are often asymptomatic.
Intestinal parasites including roundworms, hookworms,
pinworms, whipworms, threadworms, and flukes, can latch onto the
intestinal wall and you never feel a thing. Even massive tapeworms,
which have grown for decades to lengths reaching 30 feet in the
intestine, can quietly consume bits of your digested food and
you might never know.
When intestinal
parasites do produce symptoms, they include nausea, diarrhea,
headache, fatigue and other side effects that are common indicators
of many illnesses. That often leads to a misdiagnosis by the medical
community, and it may be several more years before your parasitic
infestation is revealed. If a doctor does think to test for parasites,
he or she still might miss them. Of the 1,000 that can live in
humans, only about 50 can be tested for. The tests that we currently
use aren’t fool-proof either, and they can miss infestations.
Thankfully an intestinal parasite
treatment is safe to use even if you only suspect you have parasites.
But while the decision to take one is easy, you should be careful
in selecting which type to take. A prescription intestinal parasite
treatment is an effective killer, but it commonly only targets
1 or 2 species of parasites. If you’ve gone a lifetime
with no treatment – and especially if you’ve travelled
to developing countries, consumed rare or uncooked meats or fish,
or swam in fresh water lakes or other natural bodies of water
– you may be hosting a variety of parasites. An herbal intestinal
parasite treatment will kill a wider spectrum of parasites, and
some herbal remedies even neutralize the irritating toxins parasites
leave behind when they die. You can even make an herbal
treatment part of your annual health regimen. Take one every six
months to keep your system free and clear of parasites.
