Low Energy Level - How Does It Affect You?
A common complaint that many people bring up to their health care providers is that of experiencing a low energy level during the day. Feeling sluggish, run down, and unfocused during the day can lead to a variety of issues in one's life, but what is causing your fatigue, and what can you do about it?
Much like any other condition, each person experiences fatigue differently, and it has an impact on different parts of their lives, including:
- Work performance
- Relationships
- Family activities
- Grades
- Nutrition
- Stress levels
- Much more
As far as what causes fatigue, it is as varied as each person as well. It could be hereditary or due to issues related to your gender (women are particularly prone to low energy) and difficult to combat, or it could be as simple as the times you eat.
Regardless of what is causing your low energy level, it can certainly make things more difficult than they need to be. If you are experiencing daily fatigue, consult with your health care provider. He or she may be able to help you determine the cause if your low energy as well as recommend ways to stay more alert and feel more refreshed each day. |
