Transretinoic Acid
is the acid form of Vitamin A. Transretinoic Acid can be found
in creams or gels, and it is commonly used to treat acne and
other skin problems. Transretinoic Acid is now sold in several
commercial products touting the ability to reverse or slow
down the effects of skin aging. Transretinoic Acid may increase
collagen production in the dermis. Transretinoic Acid also
has shown promise in treating a certain form of leukemia.
