Podophyllum peltatum (May Apple)
Podophyllum peltatum may be used
as a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional (botanical).
Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy
to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate;
these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions
of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the
original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine.
As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional,
Podophyllum peltatum has demonstrated effectiveness against
the following symptomology: "It affects chiefly the duodenum,
small intestines, liver and rectum... for worms. Torpidity
of the liver; portal engorgement with tendency to hemorrhoids,
hypogastric pains, fullness of superficial veins, jaundice."
-sensation of sinking or weakness in abdomen; can lie comfortably
only on stomach; liver region painful, better rubbing the
part; -rumbling and shifting of flatus in ascending colon;
-diarrhea of long standing; -painless early morning diarrhea;
green, watery, fetid, profuse, gushing; -prolapse of rectum
before or with stool; -constipation alternating with diarrhea;
-constipation: clay-colored, hard, dry, difficult (Boericke).
