Oophorinum (ovary tissue)
Oophorinum is used as a Homeopathic
medicine (sarcode). Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength
and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original
substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and
succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule
of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine.
As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional,
Oophorinum has demonstrated effectiveness against the following
symptomology: climacteric disorders generally; -cutaneous
disorders, acne rosacea, prurigo; -ovarian cysts (Boericke)
-"...has been used with much success for the climacteric sufferings
of women...I have had good results with it in such cases in
the lower triturations. Dr. E. Saalfeld, in view of Dr. Landau's
observations on the effect of Oophorinum on the nervous sufferings
of women at the climacteric, gave Oophorinum to women suffering
from acne rosacea and other skin disorders of the climacteric."
