Oat grain oil (from the germ of
the seed or grain) is an effective moisturizer containing several
components, including Vitamin E, protein and lipids, that help
skin stay soft and supple. Oat and oat grain oil are often used
in lotions and other cosmetics meant to soften and moistureize
the skin. They are also useful for dry skin and conditions such
as eczema for this reason.
