Kaolin
Kaolin, also known as Kaolinite,
China clay, or Paper clay, is a very fine natural clay originally
from Mt. Kaolin in China, hence the name. When used in a light
concentration, it has a "drawing effect," pulling impurities
and other substances from the skin, effectively detoxifying
the user. For many years, Kaolin was used for diarrhea. When
used topically, Kaolin is a drying agent and emollient.
