Inulin
Inulin is a name for a group of
polysaccharides. Extracted from Jerusalem artichokes, among
other plants, Inulin is a water soluble fructose polymer, contains
iodine, and is effective in working with the kidneys, confirmed
immune stimulant. Further, Inulin helps with the absorption
of calcium and magnesium, as well as promotes healthy bacteria
in the digestive tract. This ingredient is considered to be
dietary fiber, but it can cause bloating and gassiness in some.
