Gamma Oryzanol (GO)
Gamma Oryzanol, abbreviated as
GO, is mainly derived from rice bran oil, but it is also found
in the oils of other plants. This ingredient works directly
within the hypothalamus within the brain. The hypothalamus is
the gland responsible for all autonomic activity, and it helps
regulate the body's thermostat. GO works synergistically with
L-Tryamine. Gamma Oryzanol can alleviate symptoms of health
issues such as anxiety, menopause, and upset stomach, but it
is mainly used to lower cholesterol. Further, Gamma Oryzanol
is said to be an antioxidant. Many bodybuilders and athletes
take Gamma Oryzanol supplements because it is believed to enhance
athletic performance, encourage muscle growth, and release endorphines.
However, these claims have not been verified.
