Allium ursinum (Bear's Garlic, Ramsons)
Allium
ursinum, or Bear's Garlic, is a wild growing plant
along the sides of streams and in damp forests that
is excellent for lowering blood pressure as well as
making veins and arteries flexible and more elastic
again. Allium ursinum is used commonly with Mistletoe
and Hawthorn for those very reasons. Bear's garlic
has been historically to help in the prevention of
stroke and paralysis and has been used effectively
after a stroke has occurred, helping to restore one
to health again. Also, because of its considerable
sulfur content, it has proven useful in intestinal
flatulence, chronic intestinal catarrh, where the
lining of the stomach and intestines has become very
sensitive.
