Flu Virus, What Is It Exactly?
The flu virus or influenza is an infection in the respiratory tract and can lead to pneumonia. Pneumonia and the flu virus are a common threat among the elderly (65+), and are the 6th common cause of death in the United States. The flu virus can be spread from and infected person by coughing and sneezing and the symptoms of the flu virus may not surface for 24 hours after one has contracted the infection. The flu season usually begins to peak in November through April.
The flu virus can only live within a living cell of a human or animal. A virus has genetic material (DNA or RNA), allowing it to make copies of itself once it is in a living cell. They are very small and fit easily into human cells. Besides the genetic material other parts of a virus are the capsid and the protein coating. The capsid is the outermost shell of a virus and the protein coating contains the genetic material. The flu virus contains RNA and is able to reproduce within living cells.
The types of flu virus that attack humans are type A, B, and C. Type A of the flu virus can attack both humans and animals like swine, birds, horses, and aquatic mammals. Being immune to one strain of flu virus does not mean that you have immunity to all other strains. Two different strains of the flu virus can combine in a living cell of an animal or human and reproduce to form a mutated version of the original flu virus strain.
Lab tests, such as swabs of the deep nasal passage or throat, can be used to diagnose the flu virus. Unfortunately, these tests are not always practical. Many general practitioners will make the diagnosis by observing the symptoms and through physical examinations. Not everyone needs a 2004 flu vaccine, those who do need it the most are children between the ages of 6-23 months of age and adults over the age of 65. The best tip for flu prevention is to maintain a healthy immune system.
There may be flu shot side effects, as with any type of medication. Strains of the flu virus do not always match up to the strains in the flu vaccine. It is wise to exercise other options in addition to or in place of the flu vaccine.
Växa's Flu Prevention
Pac is a Scientifically Advanced homeopathic medicinal
strategy engineered to naturally support the function, and
thereby the resistance, of the Immune System. When the Immune
System is weakened it is prone to common bacterial and viral
infections, including the flu virus, colds, chronic fatigue,
laryngitis, asthma and emphysema, as well as bacillary dysentery,
toxic radiation and chemical poisoning (and the defective
elimination of such poisons), vaccinal poisonings, herpes
simplex & zoster (shingles), mononucleosis and lymphadenitis,
anemia, typhoid and typhus fever, encephalitis, hepatitis,
tuberculosis, pneumonia, septic blood and auto-infections,
and subsequent diminution of the population of red blood
cells. Växa's Flu
Prevention Pac is formulated to provide nutritional
support for the Immune System.
