VÄXA Buffer pH is a homeopathic medicinal
formula created to naturally alleviate acid reflux, help the
body’s own ability to cleanse and repair tissues more
quickly, and lead to better overall digestive health.
The digestive advantages of Buffer pH:
- Helps
decrease to acid reflux, preventing damage to the esophagus
from displaced acid
- Efficient
metabolism of lipids (fats) and essential fatty acids
- Promotes
better digestion of calcium, leading to better absorption
and utilization for bones
- Better
digestion of all other nutrients from food, vitamins and
minerals
- Through
these things, can contribute to easier waste elimination
Acid Balance and our Digestive
System
Our Digestive System greatly
depends on a balanced amount of acid. The even acid/alkaline
measurement of our bodies is called our “pH balance”.
We often hear about a person’s pH balance being “off”
in ads for acne medications. But the Digestive System can
be greatly affected as well. Among our acids is Hydrochloric
Acid (HCL), the stomach acid needed to digest everything we
eat.
When our acid balance is
off we have an inability to properly process and break down
food into valuable nutrients and expellable waste. This can
cause all sorts of upper and lower gastric discomfort –
bloating, embarrassing gas and burping, alternating constipation
and diarrhea – but one of the most common and irritating
repercussions of poor digestion is acid reflux.
It affects about 19% of the world’s population on a
regular basis.
What exactly is
Acid Reflux?
“Acid reflux”
is the burning sensation in the esophagus and throat associated
with heartburn. It can come with or without the actual burping
up of undigested food or liquid remains. Much of the American
diet can cause too high of an acidic level, causing the acid
reflux. But acid reflux can also come from “leaky gut”
– a poor digestion syndrome caused by factors like medication
for illness, food allergies or yeast overgrowth. With “leaky
gut”, particles of undigested food actually get out
into the bloodstream from tiny tears in the intestinal walls
instead of going where they are supposed to. This causes toxins
to form in the blood and contribute to the gassy, burning
feeling of digestive discomfort including acid reflux.
However, acid reflux can
also be due to too little stomach acid. The
purveyors of over-the-counter and prescription antacids assume
we have acid reflux because we have too much stomach acid.
But an under-production of Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) often comes
with age or other health factors. The poor digestion from
too little HCL can still produce acid reflux! So taking antacids
could start an unfortunate dependence on medication to make
us feel “normal”, when it is actually preventing
our body from getting back to its normal pH balance state.
Acid reflux does need to
be resolved in some way. But even in the instances where too
much HCL is causing the acid reflux, antacids can encourage
us to become dependent on grabbing them to stop the burning
instead of searching for the root cause, working on it with
safe, natural remedies, and helping the body get re-adjusted
to working on its own.
What is the significance
of recurring, untreated Acid Reflux to our health?
Ongoing acid reflux, technically
known as Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERDS), can
damage the esophageal tract, especially when liquid and particles
are regurgitated. The esophageal tissue can actually be torn,
or polyps can form on the irritated lining.
Since digestion begins in
our mouth with the salivary glands and runs all the way through
the intestines, colon and rectum, acid reflux can inhibit
the entire process of digestion by keeping waste in the upper
digestive tract instead of where it should go, and also keeping
nutrients from being absorbed where we need them. This can
really become life-disrupting, from worrying about what we
eat to being kept up at night, even needing surgery and can
extend into further gastro-intestinal ailments.
It is being acknowledged more and more that the key to overall
health is through good digestion. Good digestive health, achieved
through knowledge of your Digestive System, associated food
allergies and infections can help you prevent ailments and
diseases like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), GERDS (Gastro
Esophageal Reflux Disease), Crohn’s, Colitis and Ulcerative
Colitis, Celiac Disease and most importantly Colon Cancer.
How can VÄXA
Buffer pH help?
Either way, when there is
too much or too little acid present, our digestion isn’t
working right and individual cells which protect us from disease
can be killed off by toxic waste. VÄXA Buffer
pH is specifically geared to detect which way our
imbalance is going and work to correct it.
How to use VÄXA Buffer
pH: When purchasing Buffer pH, it is advisable to
order the pH Test Strips as well. Following the directions,
these strips are to be individually placed in the urine stream,
and will indicate if your pH is unbalanced – too alkaline
or too acidic. Buffer-pH should not only be taken until balance
is achieved, but every day – since we combat the same
things daily that made our pH imbalanced in the first place!
VÄXA Buffer
pH can be an important natural aid in relieving acid
reflux and achieving good digestive health without becoming
dependent on chemically engineered antacids.
