Benefits of Hot Yoga
Hot yoga is becoming one of the fastest growing health crazes in recent years, and for good reason. Yoga is a great exercise for people of all ages, as it has been shown to be easy on the joints but tough on the muscles and relaxing for the mind. The benefits of hot yoga, however, are believed to not only enhance regular yoga benefits, but also add to them.
Hot yoga is considered to be any type of yoga that is performed in a heated environment, usually around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat is believed to provide additional benefits. These include increased:

- Immune support
- Joint lubrication
- Detoxification

However, like any other new health regimen you may be considering, it is important to consult with your primary care provider before you begin. Due to the high temperatures, pregnant women and those with some health conditions are not recommended to participate in hot yoga. There are many other types of yoga that can provide these and other great benefits if you cannot experience the benefits of hot yoga for yourself.
