How the Balance of Body pH Can Affect Your Energy Levels
It's widely believed that one of the aspects in the body that is mostly affected by pH is chemical makeup. Our cells are surrounded by proteins that help to regulate their growth and speed, and when the pH balance between our bodies and these cells is compromised, cell production and normal body function can slow down throughout our systems. The slower that cells travel and function, the slower we receive the nutrients we need. This can make us feel fatigued and run down.
However, feeling tired is only one of many lesser symptoms of a low balance of body pH. Having an imbalanced body pH is widely believed to possibly cause an increased risk for some conditions, weak bones, poor digestion, and much more. Normal human body pH is slightly alkaline at between 7.35 and 7.45 on a scale of 0-14 with 7 being neutral.
Maintaining a healthy balance of body pH and a regular energy level is not difficult. By keeping an active lifestyle and eating a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and other alkaline-producing foods, your body will naturally maintain a normal balance. However, if you feel you may be suffering from a pH imbalance,
you can test your body pH by using pH test strips.
