Panax
Ginseng Root Helps Improve Stamina
And Control Blood Pressure
Panax Ginseng Root has been around
for more than 2,000 years and it is revered in traditional Chinese
medicine. Panax Ginseng Root, native to China and Korea, is thought
to be almost extinct in its natural habitat but it is still cultivated
for its health benefits. There are various types of ginseng, including
Siberian and American, but Siberian ginseng is not real ginseng.
Some have attempted to promote Siberian ginseng as an alternative
to Panax Ginseng Root, but Siberian doesn’t have the ginsenosides
found in Panax.
Panax Ginseng Root has been used for centuries for the following:
- To help people fully recover from an illness
- Increase a person’s stamina and mental
performance
- For the treatment of erectile dysfunction
- For the treatment of hepatitis C
- To help lower blood glucose and help control
blood pressure
People would use Panax Ginseng Root by drying
the root and making tablets, capsules, extracts, teas and creams
from it. Its medical properties are believed to come from chemical
components called ginsenosides, which are steroid-like compounds.
Some studies have shown that Panax Ginseng Root may have beneficial
effects for the immune system, as well as potentially having the
power to treat chronic lung infection, impaired glucose tolerance
and even Alzheimer’s disease.
Some side effects that may occur with the use of Panax Ginseng Root
are skin rashes, diarrhea, anxiety, depression or insomnia. On rare
occasions some users have experienced headaches, chest pain, heartburn,
leg swelling and vomiting.
