Viburnum
Sargenti is Low Maintenance
The Viburnum sargenti, also
known as Sargent Viburnum, is a large, oval shrub that can reach
up to 12 feet in height. Its flowers, which bloom in the spring,
are flat clusters of white petals. In the Fall, the shrub’s
red fruit grows and covers the shrub, making it look like a cranberry
bush. Viburnum sargenti is a shrub native to northeastern Asia as
well as the Russian Far East. As one might imagine by its habitat,
Viburnum sargenti is very low maintenance and hardy.
Viburnum sargenti is an adaptogen, meaning it is thought to help
with stress, anxiety and fatigue. Before you add this herb, or any other new supplement, to your health regimen it is important to speak with your health care provider in order to identify any serious health concerns, possible allergies, and reactions to other medications.
