Viburnum
Sargenti is Low Maintenance
The Viburnum sargenti, also
known as Sargent Viburnum, is a large, oval shrub that can reach
up to 12 feet in height. Its flowers, which bloom in the spring,
are flat clusters of white petals. In the Fall, the shrub’s
red fruit grows and covers the shrub, making it look like a cranberry
bush. Viburnum sargenti is a shrub native to northeastern Asia as
well as the Russian Far East. As one might imagine by its habitat,
Viburnum sargenti is very low maintenance and hardy.
Viburnum sargenti is an adaptogen, meaning it is thought to help
reduce stress, anxiety and fatigue. This oval shrub is also thought
to be a powerful antioxidant. Viburnum sargenti is used in traditional
medicine because it contains a high number of antioxidants, antiradical
and antitoxic elements.
Adaptogens are believed to help balance a person’s body and
mind. Although Viburnum sargenti is an adaptogen that works well
as an antioxidant, other adaptogens can also help with your kidneys,
metabolism, lungs, kidneys, memory and much more. Many believe it
to have numerous benefits, like helping to alleviate ulcers, jaundice,
and even coughs and colds.
