What
is an Adaptogenic?
An adaptogenic is a product taken
from herbs and plants that help the body cope with everyday life.
Stress, fatigue and depression can be debilitating, but an adaptogenic
is thought to reduce these intense and overwhelming feelings. Derived
from the Greek adapto, adaptogenic means “to adjust,”
while “genic” stands for “producing” or
“generating”.
These adaptogenic herbs come from plants found in the wild jungles
and mountainous regions of places like Russia, China, Japan, Scandinavia
and Iceland, among others. Researcher and scientist Dr. Israel Brekhman
spent decades trying to develop a formula that would naturally help
people feel better and happier in life. He found it with his discovery
of adaptogenic herbs.
Dr. Israel Brekhman traveled to a remote, wild area of Russia to
search for the untainted mountains and jungle of Primorye. There
he found thousands of untouched plants that held a large variety
of health benefits for mankind. Dr. Israel Brekhman once called
the Primorye area “the greatest living laboratory on earth.”
While there, Dr. Israel Brekhman discovered the adaptogenic Eleutheroccus,
which some call the “King of Adaptogens.”
There is a large variety of adaptogenic herbs to choose from, and
they can help with different ailments depending on the adaptogenic.
There are a vast amount of adaptogenic herbs and plants like:
- Chaga mushroom
- Codonopsis
- Lepidium
- Reishi
- Rhodiola
- Schisandra
- Rhaponticum
These different types of adaptogenic herbs
and plants are thought to help alleviate issues with a person’s
metabolism, cardiovascular system, liver, lungs, kidneys, and so
much more. These adaptogenic herbs have been used for centuries.
