A former practitioner at the Chopra Center at La Costa Resort and Spa, Dr. Shirvani is a Naturopathic Physician and holds certificates in a variety of natural healing techniques. Prior to joining the Chopra Center, he was a research scientist and product developer at Natural Alternatives International in San Marcos, CA, where he was instrumental in formulating several nutritional supplement lines, including the Chopra Center Essentials. Dr. Shirvani has also served as an instructor at the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas, CA, and was a professor of clinical science and clinical research at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. He is the author of numerous essays, lectures and books on natural healing, as well as a celebrated speaker and seminar leader. An accomplished musician and songwriter, Dr. Shirvani is also exploring the healing power of music through composing and integrating music-as-medicine into his work. Dr. Shirvani received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, OR, in 1995, the oldest college of its kind in the country. Philippe Moser, PhD
Dr. Phillippe Moser is a Doctor of Pharmacy and has been practicing for more than 30 years. He received his Certificate of Pharmacology from the University of Montpellier in 1973, and his Degree of Pharmacist from the same university in 1977, in addition to completing degrees in anatomy, physiology, bacteriology, hematology, immunology, mycology, homeopathy, micro nutrition and herbology. He has served as chief pharmacist for Vitarich Laboratories and ICP Biotech Analytical Laboratories. In addition, he served as Partner in Engineering for the Brain Trust, Inc.; and was president of Moser-Farmatec Pharmaceutical in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Moser designed, set up and launched several medical and wellness centers and pharmacies throughout France. A prolific inventor of homeopathic formulas and state-of-the-art wellness diagnostic tools, Dr. Moser developed the Urinary Biological Tracimetry (for determining nutritional profiles through urine analysis); the Atomic Organ Sequencing (a unique way to measure organ health), the Homeopathic Medicine Finder CD-ROM (an interactive program to educate people about homeopathic medicine), and a host of popular homeopathic formulas. Dr. Moser has authored numerous book and articles on wellness and health issues, and is a popular speaker on radio and TV programs. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling—and has been to every continent except Antarctica.
John Alm, MD
John Alm, MD, has been
practicing medicine for 20 years. Licensed in
California, he is Board Certified in Emergency
Medicine. The eight years he has spent in Nutritional
Practice, made him an ideal candidate to serve
on VÄXA’s Medical Advisory Board, a position
he has held for the last five years. During
his tenure as VÄXA’s Medical Director, he performed
an Oral Chelation study, the results of which
appear in VÄXA’s literature. Dr. Alm is currently
practicing in an Urgent Care Clinic in California.
He stocks VÄXA products in his clinic and is
planning future VÄXA product study programs.

Homer N.D., C.N.C.
David
Homer N.D., C.N.C. has been clinically practicing
holistic health care since 1996. He holds a
doctorate in Naturopathy from the Trinity College
of Natural Health, and certifications in Holistic
Nutrition from the American Holistic College
of Nutrition. He lives on the Caribbean island
of Barbados and brings to the health care industry,
unique perspectives on naturally restoring and
optimizing health, and preventing disease.
At his clinic, InnerLife Wellness Center, Dr.
Homer employs the paramedical techniques of
Nutritional/Biological Microscopy, iridology
and Muscle Response Testing in his practice
of natural healing. He has been using Vaxa’s

Douglas Cowan, Psy.D, MFCC
Dr. Cowan is a licensed Family
Therapist with his Doctorate in Psychology.
He has been a part of Several ADD/ADHD research
projects including the clinical studies on VÄXA’s
Attend. Dr. Cowan can currently be heard on
VÄXA’s audio tape, “Why My Child Can’t Pay Attention.”
He is also the host of the popular “Family Matters”
radio program, which is aired daily throughout
California’s Central Valley.

Atterberry, DVM
Bob
Atterberry, DVM, grew up in Fort Collins, CO.
After five years of service in the US Army,
Dr. Atterberry attained the rank of Captain
and served as an Infantry Company Commander
in the Korean War. He left the Army in 1953
and later received his DVM in 1960, focusing
primarily on Pet-Related Small Animal Practice
for 40 years, both in the San Francisco area,
and in Northwest Arkansas.
Dr. Atterberry and his wife of 44 years, Marie,
both credit their good health to the unique
line of VÄXA products. Dr. Atterberry says he
feels better today at age 70 than he did at
age 60. He has used many of the VÄXA products
both personally, and in the treatment of hundreds
of his animal patients. Definitely a “main-stream
Veterinarian,” Dr. Atterberry sees the need
for and the value of the VÄXA products.
